Privacy notice
Wagglewick privacy notice
Effective September 25, 2026
This notice explains what information Wagglewick handles when you use the website, check the service area, send a walk request, create an account, or join the optional service-area expansion list.
Information we may collect
- Account information such as your name and email address, plus optional profile and contact details—like a phone number, contact preference, care address, or pet details—when you choose to add them.
- Dog and care-profile information, including identity, health, vaccination, feeding, behavior, safety, veterinary, and care details you choose to provide.
- Emergency-contact and vaccination-record information when you provide it.
- Neighborhood and service-area details, plus optional device-location coordinates when you choose to check whether a location is in the service area.
- Care requests, requested services and timing, logistics, booking status, and related communications.
- Your separate choices about photos or videos during care and about using a pet profile picture in Pack Journal or marketing.
- The email address you enter in the optional service-area expansion form and the time you submit it. The form does not ask for other waitlist details.
- For a walk that proceeds to payment, the transaction amount, payment status, and hosted-checkout reference.
- Session, IP address, browser, cookie, and security information used with sign-in, account protection, and site operation.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to operate and secure accounts, check service-area eligibility, review walk requests, plan appropriate care, and communicate about your request or account. If a walk proceeds to payment, we use the related transaction information to administer it. We also use information to prevent misuse, respond to privacy requests, and meet applicable legal, accounting, and dispute obligations.
Payments and service providers
If a walk is approved for payment, checkout is hosted by Stripe. The service-area check and initial request do not charge you. Wagglewick records the transaction amount, payment status, and checkout reference to administer that walk. The site sends account-verification emails and may notify Wagglewick when a care request or service-area expansion-list entry is submitted. Expansion-list entries are stored with the email address and submission time so Wagglewick can record the interest and follow up about service-area changes.
Location and browser storage
Device location is optional. If you choose to use it, precise coordinates are sent for the service-area check and are not retained in Wagglewick records after that check. This is separate from care-location details you later choose to save through your protected account profile.
Sign-in and security features use session information, including IP address and browser details. A referral cookie is used only to carry referral attribution when you follow a referral link. The care-request form uses temporary browser session storage to preserve request progress in the current session.
Separate, optional media choices
Service-agreement acknowledgments are separate from optional media and marketing choices. Permission for photos or short videos during care is optional. The pet-profile choice about using a profile picture in Pack Journal or marketing is a separate, optional setting. These choices start unchecked and do not determine whether you may request care. Public stories or marketing use require separate, affirmative permission.
Advertising and tracking
Wagglewick does not sell personal information or share it for targeted or behavioral advertising. The care-request forms do not collect referrer, UTM, campaign, ad, or click identifiers. The site does not use advertising pixels or session replay.
Retention and privacy requests
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for services, account administration, safety, legal, accounting, dispute, and security purposes. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing wagglewick@polsia.app. A deletion request is reviewed and is not automatically completed when submitted. Some records may be retained for legal, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
